I have a question about…

Let's get into the details:

What is experience (XP)?

You receive experience points (XP) by collecting resources, playing minigames in the tavern, fighting in the arena, fighting NPC fighters, reading in your guild library, and by solving quests and daily Extra quests. CAs (Community actions) will also give a little XP (See here).

By increasing the amount of AP per arena fight (Profile-> Preferences-> Game preferences) you can gain more XP from fights. The level of your opponent and whether you win or lose affects the amount of XP gained. Fighting in the arena during fight bonus time will give you an increased amount of XP.

You will get more XP from fights than from minigames. However, minigames give you more SP.

As soon as you have earned enough experience points and the blue bar at the top of the screen is 100% full, you climb up to the next experience level. You are informed about your increase in level by an arrow symbol which appears at the bottom of the screen.

Being a member of a guild that offers an experience artifact can increase the amount of XP you receive (See here).
